Vanguard Grants
Vanguard Schools are recognized by HCSC as “laboratory schools” in which exemplary practices are exhibited in all of the following areas:
- Curriculum and Instruction;
- Use of Data to Influence Administrative and Instructional Decisions;
- Professional Development;
- Leadership and Governance;
- Management and Operations.
It is anticipated that four Vanguard Schools will be identified by HCSC between 2009 and 2014. Once a school is selected to be a Vanguard School, it will receive a three-year renewable grant of up to $500,000 per year. For more information, please contact Joni Berman at joni@hebrewcharters.org.
